Yoga Class Descriptions

Gentle Yoga invites students to reap the benefits of increased flexibility, strength and stress release at a kinder, gentler pace accommodating students of all ages and fitness levels, and is designed to provide individual attention. The goal of Gentle Yoga is the awakening that Yoga can be enjoyed by all.
Yogalates mixes both yoga and Pilates to develop core strength, tone muscles, increase flexibility and reduce stress. Some experience with yoga is advised. Suitable for all levels as modifications are offered.
Beginner Yoga builds on the fundamentals adding more challenging postures and sequencing to develop strength, flexibility and balance.
Yin Yoga is a practice of stillness and works the deeper levels of the body: the connective tissues of the ligaments, fascia, joints and bones. There is no engagement of the muscles, poses are supported by bolsters and held for time. Relaxing yet dynamic.
Vinyasa Flow is an active practice where movement through postures is synchronized with the breath creating a smooth transition. It unites strength and flexibility to create the dance of yoga. One of the most popular forms of yoga.
